I have gone to the web site Wendi Frieser and found nothing to refute or cast doubt on Mr. claims. I did see a CD that promised healing through hypnosis, as well as CD's that promised breast enlargement, hair growth, and penis enlargement. Please read this gentleman's posting and visit the web site http://www.wendi.com and take what, if any, actions you deem appropriate.

Three sessions, one will access your ability to heal, the second will strengthen your immune system, another will cleanse your body of bacteria, viruses and toxins. This process can help to speed the healing of surgery, illness, or even a cold or sore throat."I find this repugnant, and dangerous for anyone who decides Friesen's $29 CD is a worthy alternative to a trip to the doctor, a biopsy, mammogram, chemotherapy, etc. Friesen is spewing the lie that hypnosis can help you fight cancer. There is no medical evidence to support that, and there never will. For her uneducated clients, listening to the CD versus receiving medical attention could be a fatal decision.Phone calls from enough concerned citizens can make a difference.

I am writing in response to the attack aimed at Wendi Friesen. I read the post and I also went to her website and reviewed the ad copy for the Heal Your Body CD. There was no reference in the ad copy that suggested that her audio recording would cure cancer nor was there any suggestion that anyone stop seeing a medical professional. This program is for creating a state of mind that is conducive to healing not as a replacement for medical care like the previous visitor stated.
I can tell you from experience that hypnosis can do some amazing things. About 5 months ago my fiancé was diagnosed with two breast tumors, one in each breast. The lumps were verified through mammogram and sonogram and she was scheduled for surgery. Being a hypnotist myself and having read dozens of case studies on the effectiveness of preoperative hypnosis in regard to speeding the healing process, I convincer her to allow me to hypnotize her in an effort to allay some of her concerns and help with postoperative pain and speed healing. She is an excellent hypnotic subject and while under deep somnambulistic trance I engaged in the usual suggestions for comfort and relaxation and I also lead her through a vivid visualization of her body breaking up the breast tumors and expelling them from her body. We continued this daily for two weeks and when she went for her surgery the doctor was amazed to find only one tumor and it was “significantly reduced in size” (the doctors words).
Hopefully this will help balance the scales in this discussion.
